Personally I thought that the state of the nation address last night was terrible, I must be frank, I was under the impression that the state of the nation address was supposed to be inlightening, addressing issues that we have in the country, and addressing how we intent solving these issues.
For me, the first issues is that the president is an issue, what kind of an example is he leaving for the youth of today, having children out of wedlock, having multile wives, damn that's a good example.
So I was listening to Radio 702 the other night, and they were having a chat about Mr Zuma, our president.
A wanted to mentioned a few points that were brought up with this regard.
- Mr Zuma, is NOT setting a good example by having 3 wives, and looking at another.
- He has 20 Children, which I might add, us as tax payers pay for to go to school
- Us, as tax payers pay for his Wives, their expences, fancy cars houses etc.
- Although, General society across the entire world (with minor excepotions) says that Polygamy is not acceptable in society, YET, our president wants to make it legal, just cause he's got that many wives
Something to chew on, not ideal in my eyes ;)
All I have to say is the following, What happened to the democratic "Freedom of speec" in this country.
As I am sure more South Africans have heard by now that Zille from the DA accused ZUMA (our new el presidento) from the ANC that he has put his wives (yes, more than one) at danger of getting HIV, then they retaliated with some snide comments and now the whole media have jumped on board.
What happened to "freedom of speech" in this "democratic country" remember Zaphiro who had a law suit because he put a shower head on Zuma's head after that whole shower story, pffft.
Anyways Zaphiro has just warned that if Zuma dissapoints the people, the shower head is coming back baby!
Not sure if anyone has really listened to Zuma speeking in public, it's akshilly pretty damn funny, and certainly obvious that he doesnt write his own speeches, included in that, the speeches that he does get given out, he doesnt practice those either.
I bet if you had to ask him what one of those fancy words he's using mean, he would be able to tell you, let alone understand what he's actually speeking about :s
Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He
asked,
"What are all those clocks?"
St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth
has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock will
move."
"Oh," said the man, "Whose clock is that?"
"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved,
indicating that she never told a lie."
"Incredible!" said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"
St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The
hands have moved twice telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire
life.."
"Where's Jacob Zuma's?" asked the man.
"Zuma's clock is in God's office. He's using it as a fan."
I've aready recently spoken my mind about the ANC, however as you can see i'm not the only one that thinks so :p
infact 2 occasstion, one of wich I will paste an article from IOL the other was a fact that I heard yesterday, the ANC has spent R300 million on the election campaign, if they're so f**ing willing to give houses and jobs to the poor as they profess, then why on earth are the spending that amount of the tax payers money on elections? makes ya think.
I'm ready for the DA nê
ANC 'poisoning people's minds'
Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille was welcomed with shouts of: "Down ANC!" and people waving 'Stop Zuma' placards, when she took her election campaign to the ANC stronghold of Butterworth in the Eastern Cape on Wednesday.
Zille, who arrived in the Msobomvu Community Hall to the Brenda Fassie song Vulindlela, told the crowd of about 800 that it was up to them to root out corrupt officials in their area.
"If you keep voting for the ANC, you mustn't blame them," said Zille, who shifted between Xhosa and English in her speech.
"Your vote is your power."
PRETORIA. ANC President Jacob Zuma says the lifting of corruption charges against him has left him free to tackle an even bigger personal challenge: getting rid of his man boobs. According to Zuma, the issue of "moobs" affects millions of moderately obese patriarchs across the country, and can severely damage men's self-esteem as they get whistled at by builders.
Zuma is currently on the campaign trail in South Africa, explaining his vision of one-party democracy, but he took time out this morning to speak openly and intimately with fellow sufferers of the man boob pandemic sweeping through communities of sedentary beer-drinkers who whose wives feed them on demand.
According to Zuma he had always been comfortable with his body. However the acquisition of his fifth wife changed everything.
